Abstract: Hydroaminoalkylation of alkenes has attracted intense interest over the past few years for its high atom efficiency. In the reactions, the α C-H bonds of N-alkylamines are added to alkenes to afford new amines in a single step with no by-product. This review provides an overview of recent developments in the transition metal-catalyzed intra-and inter-molecular hydroaminoalkylation of alkenes. Mechanistic studies of the reactions are also discussed. |
