Preparation and Characterization of Er3+-Yb3+ Co-doped SiO2-SrO-NaF Glass Ceramics |

Abstract: Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped transparent oxyfluoride glass ceramics containing SrF2 crystals were successfully synthesized using a high temperature melting quenching method. The structure, morphology and luminescent properties of the samples were measured and characterized by DSC, XRD, SEM and fluorescence spectra. The results show that the optimum heat treatment temperature is 620℃, and the optimum heat treatment tine is 2 h. The effect of Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped glass ceramics with different doping concentrations of Yb3+ on the up-conversion luminescence properties was discussed. The optimum doping concentration ratio of Er3+-Yb3+ is 1:7. Bright green light (522, 540 nm) and weak red light (656 nm) were observed in the luminescence spectra. The energy transfer process between Er3+ and Yb3+ was discussed. |
