Abstract: A series of near infrared (NIR) luminescent complexes based on ErxYb1-x(TPB)3Bath (where TPB=4,4,4-tri-fluoro-1-phenyl-1,3-butanedione, Bath=4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, x=0, 0.218, 0.799, 0.896, 0.987, 1, respectively) were prepared by selecting TPB and Bath as the first and second ligands, respectively. Luminescence properties of these complexes were investigated in detail. All these complexes exhibit the characteristic emission of the Yb3+ and/or Er3+ ion in the NIR region, and the emission intensity of Er3+ ion can be enhanced by modulating the nEr/nYb, which is related to the energy transfer from Yb3+ to Er3+ ions. |
