Abstract: Two new coordination polymers (CPs) based on H4tptc, namely, {[Zn2(tptc)(1,4-bimb)2]·H2O}n (1) and {[Ni(tptc)0.5(1,2-bimb)(H2O)]·H2O}n (2) (H4tptc=p-terphenyl-3,3",5,5"-tetracarboxylic acid, 1,4-bimb=1,4-bis (imid-azol-1-ylmethyl) benzene, 1,2-bimb=1,2-bis (imidazol-1-ylmethyl) benzene), have been synthesized under solvo-thermal conditions. The structural analyses reveal that complex 1 shows a 3D structure with the symbol of (86), while complex 2 presents a 2D layer network, which is further expanded into a 3D supramolecular structure through H-bonding interactions. Furthermore, the luminescence sensing of 1 for cations, anions as well as magnetic property of 2 have also been studied. |
