Abstract: In this paper, a 13C NMR method of determination of hydrolysis of potassium diethanol formate and glycine-amino-formate as well as their mixtures has been investigated. The reactions are as follows:  Since their hydrolysis rates are rather slow, the concentration of each component in the solution can be determined by measuring the area of the peak of methyloic or methylene.carbon atoms of the reactants and the products, and their hydrolysis constants may by calculated from the concentration. |
