Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound has been determinated by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal is triclinic with following parameters: a=8.182(2)Å, b= 10.389(2)Å, c=16.261(5)Å, a = 99.38(2)°, β=89.97(2)°, r= 113.18(2)°; space group P1, Dc=1.702gcm-3, Z=2. The structure was refined by least-square technique to a final R of 0.075. The molecule is composed of [Cu(H2OXphen)]2+ cation and ClO4- anion. The copper atom is surrounded by four nitrogen atoms of the two phenanthroline ligands (average Cu-N=2.043Å) and a water-oxygen atom (Cu-O = 2.44Å) in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal arrangement in which the equatorial plane is composed of Cu, two N and water O atoms, and the axial positions are occupied by other two N atoms. |
