摘要: 本文研究IrO2-SnO2电极上氧析出过程的动力学和机理.实验得到,在所研究的电极上氧析出极化曲线的Tafel斜率约为75mV,H+的反应级数为-0.75.此外,XPS结果证明研究电极表面Ir以+4价存在.根据实验结果提出IrO2-SnO2电极上氧析出过程的机理为:IrO2+H2O→IrO2-OH+H++cIrO2-OH⇔IrO2-O-+(H+)sIrO2-O-⇔IrO2-O+c2(IrO2-O)⇔2IrO2+O2其中第一步为反应速度步骤(r.d.s.),(H+)s表示电极表面上的吸附质子.

Abstract: The kinetics and mechanism of oxygen evolution on IrO2- SnO2 electrode was studied. The Tafel slope of above electrode process was found to be 75mV, and the reaction order of H+ ion -0.75. XPS results showed that Ir on the surface of the studied electrode existed as +4 valence state. Base on the experimental results the mechanism of oxygen evolution on IrO2-SnO2 electrode was suggested as following IrO2+H2O→IrO2-H++c IrO2-OH⇔IrO2-O-+(H+)s IrO2-O-⇔IrO2-O+e 2(IrO2-O)⇔2IrO2+O2 the first step is the rate-determining step, and(H+)s represents the adsorbing proton on electrode surface.
