| Abstract: The rate of cobalt transport through a supported liquid membrane containing(HEH(EHP),P507)as a mobile carrier has been studied. The influence of the stirring rate, pH, acetate concentration, carrier concentration, surfactant was investigated. In our experiment conditions the limiting thickness of the aqueous diffusion film is the same order of magnitude as the membrane thickness(2×10-3cm), the order of magnitude of the diffusion coefficient of the cobalt-HEH(EHP)complex in the SLM is l0-7cm2/sec. |
