| Abstract: The crystal and molecular structure of ［C5H4C(CH3)(C3H7)CH2CH=CH2］NdMg2(μ3-OH)(μ3-Cl)(μ2-Cl)3(THF)4Cl are reported. It is triclinic. The crystallographic data are as follows: space group P1, a=12.698(2), b=13.616(3), c=13.712(3)?, α=68.91(3), β=84.34(3), γ=63.07(3)°, V=1966(1)?3, Mr=849.74, Dx=1.412 g·cm-3, μ=1.7297 mm-1, F(000)=840, Z=2, R=0.073, wR=0.086(I≥3σ(I)). In this molecule the coodination number of Nd(Ⅲ) atom is 8 and the coordination geometry of Nd(Ⅲ) is a seriously distorted octahedron. The coordinations of Mg(1) and Mg(2) are similar, their coordination numbers are all 6 and their coordination geometries are all distorted octahedra. The three octahedra are linked up by three coplanes. |
