Abstract: The bismuth complex with dithiopiperdylcarbamate [Bi(S2CNC5H10)2(NO3)]·[1,10-Phen]·0.5H2O was synthesized. The crystal and molecular structure were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoiclinic with space group C2/c, a=3.140(2) nm, b=1.176 4(9) nm, c=2.021 6(15) nm, β=103.081(12)°, V=5.713(7) nm3, Z=8, F(000)=3064, Dc=1.815 g·cm-3, μ=6.502mm-1. The final R1=0.0332, wR2=0.040 3. In the complex, the bismuth atom is eight-coordinated in a capped distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry. CCDC: 222655.
