Abstract: Complex 1 [Cd(hca)2(H2O)3] was obtained by the reaction of CdCl2·2H2O,NaOH and 4-hydroxycinnamic acid(Hhca) and complex 2 [Cu(hca)2(phen)] was obtained by the reaction of Cu(Ac)2·H2O, 4-hydroxycinnamic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline. The crystal structure reveals that complex 1 is of orthorhombic, space group Pbcn with a=2.629 7(4) nm, b=1.095 76(17) nm, c=0.732 16(11) nm, V=2.109 7(6) nm3, Z=4, μ=1.092 mm-1, Dc=1.665 Mg·m-3, F(000)=1 072 and the complex 2 is of monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=2.420 5(5) nm, b=1.006 1(2) nm, c=0.732 2(11) nm, β=109.55°, V=2.530 8(9) nm3, Z=4, μ=0.912 mm-1, Dc=1.496 Mg·m-3, F(000)=1 172. Both com-plexes are mononuclear but hydrogen bonds enrich the structural construction. By the linkage of hydrogen bonds, complex 1 shows a 3D supramolecular network and complex 2 shows a 2D supramolecular network. CCDC: 654419, 1; 654420, 2. |
