Abstract: By using diethylenetriamine (DETA) as the template, pseudoboehmite, orthophosphoric acid, tetraethyl orthosilicate and cobaltous acetate as raw materials, the large single crystals of CoSAPO-101 molecular sieve have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally determined. The compound with a molecular formula (Al4Co2Si1.33P4.67O24)·[Co(C4H13N3)2]·H3O crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R3 with a=1.379 5(2) nm, c=1.517 3(3) nm, V=2.500 4(7) nm3, Mr=1 073.04, Z=3, Dc=2.138 Mg·m-3, μ=1.957 mm-1, F(000)=1 613. Its open-framework belongs to chabazite type. The results of SEM and XRD analyses indicate that the synthetic products have high purity, high crystallinity and large crystal size. CCDC: 783721.
