Abstract: A 1D chain Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymer[Cd3( μ-Cl)6(Nicotine)2(DMF)2(H2O)2]n(Where Nicotine=(3-[(2S)-1-methylpyrrolidin-2-yl]pyridine), DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide) has been synthesized in DMF solution with nicotine and CdCl2·2.5H2O. The crystal structure of the polymer is characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, FTIR, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD). The crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group P21. The cell parameters are: a=0.998 02(19) nm, b=1.836 89(15) nm, c=1.082 6(2) nm, β=95.809(3)°, and V=1.974 5(5) nm3, Z=2, μ(Mo Kα)=2.045 mm-1, F(000)=1 044.0, R1=0.049 9, wR2=0.118 8 (I>2σ(I)). Three Cd(Ⅱ) atoms locate in three distorted coordination octahedron respectively. The Cd(Ⅱ) atoms bridged by μ-Cl to form a 1D chain, and Nicotine, DMF, H2O occupying the remaining coordination site of the approximately octahedral. The 1D chain extends in the a direction. The experimental results show that the title complex has good luminescence property and can be used as potential optical materials. CCDC: 819349. |
