四水合硫酸铈(Ⅲ)的晶体结构
CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF CERIUM(Ⅲ)SULPHATE TETRAHYDRATE Ce2(SO4)3·4H2O

摘要: 本文报导了四水合硫酸铈(Ⅲ)Ce2(SO4)3·4H2O及其变体的晶体结构.晶体属单斜晶系,空间群PZ1/n,晶胞参数分别为:a=12.336(1)Å,b=7.144(1)Å,c=14.296(2)Å,β=90.68(1)°;及a=13.117(2)Å,b=7.243(1)Å,c=13.364(2)Å,β=92.54(1)°,z=4.结果表明结构中存在有硫酸根氧桥联,而含有氧桥的希土硫酸盐水合物的晶体结构尚未见报导过,我们认为是结构上的一种变体.

Abstract: The geometry of high-coordination polyhedra have not been systematically analyzed, probably because of the relatively small number of structure determinations available. In addition, a high-coordination character is probable if the central ion is large, e.g. La3+ on Ce3+, and the li-gands are compact. The sulphate group is a suitable one with a view to elucidation the charater,an investigation into the hydrate of trivalent cerium was initiated as part of the programme for us.The structure of the title compound have been solved and is reported here.The crystals beloog to monoclinic system, space group P21/n, with unit cell dimensions: a=12.336(1)Å, b=7.144(1)Å, c=14.296(2)Å, β=90.68(1)° for(I)and a=13.117(2)Å, b=7.243(1)Å, c=13. 364(2)Å, β=92.54(1)° for(Ⅱ), z=4 for both.Intensity data were collected on a CAD-4 diffractometer with MoKa radiation, θ/2θ scans. The structure Was solved by the direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares method to final R=0.032 for(I)and 0.029 for(Ⅱ).The result shows that the charater of crystal(I)is the existence cf the oxygen-bridge with the mean distance Ce-O=2.58Å. This type of strueture has been less reported.
