Abstract: We have synthesized a number of new complexes (LH2)2Cu2(NO3)2·H2O,L2Cu2Na2·nH2O, where LH3 = Pyrazolc-3,5-bis(N-a1kylcarboxyamide). From elemental analysis data and IR spectra, we suggest the formation of neutral amide complexes in neutral solution and the deprotonated amide complexes in high pH solution. The crystal structure of (PEAH2)2Cu2(NO3)2·H2O, where PEAH3 = Pyrazole-3,5-bis(N-ethylcarboxyamide), was obtained by X-ray single crystal analysis. The ESR spectra of complexes show that there arc spin-exchange interaction between two copper atoms in the molecules.
