Abstract: A series of Fe2(SO4)3/γ-Al2O3 solid superacid samples have been pr epared by wet impregnation method.Mssbauer spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were employed to study the effects of the calcination temperature on the s tates and stabilization of iron species in Fe2(SO4)3/γ-Al2O3.The results showed that the iron species could exist as monolayer and amorphous states at the calcination temperature lower than 500℃,but the amorphous Fe2(SO4)3transformed to crystalline Fe2(SO4)3 as the temperature increased to 600℃.The formed crystalline Fe2(SO4)3 could be stable even if the calcination temperature was up to 700℃. |
