Abstract: The fullerene complex,C60RuH2(CO)(PPh3),has been prepared and characterize d by elemental analyses,IR and electronic spectra.In addition,the redox property of the complex has been studied by cyclic voltammetry.The results s how that the reduction potential of C60RuH2(CO)(PPh3)is more negative than that of C60.Meanwhile,with the extent of the complex reduction get to increace the stability of the complex ion is on the decrease.
