Abstract: A binuclear complex {[Cu2(C7H19N3O)2(C10H8N2)](ClO4)4·H2O} was synthesized based on the reaction of copper perchlorate hexahydrate, 1-[bis(aminoethyl)amino]-2-propanol and 4,4′-bipyridyl in methanol medium . It′s structure was characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis and thermal analysis. The crystal structure of the title compound was also determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to crystal Monoclinic system with space group P21/n and crystallographic data are: a=0.927 65(11) nm, b=1.678 2(3) nm, c=1.315 97(13) nm, β=97.748(2)°, V=2.029 9(4) nm3, Dc=1.671 g·cm-3, μ=1.394 mm-1, Z=2, F(000)=1 052. CCDC: 692297.
